K1P1 Influenza - the knitting bug has hit with a vengeance

Sara, Ghislaine, Suzanne
It was only a matter of time. It has been 5 months since we moved to Quebec. During that time, Gilles' family has watched me knit tuques, socks and more. They have also been the recipients of the many knitted items I have made. If I am near the end of a project, it is best to be near. You may be the lucky owner of the latest tuque. Sara was the first to catch the bug. She brought it back to Montreal where she passed the bug to Ghislaine. Suzanne was a bit of a latecomer, but on Christmas day, we handed her a pair of needles and some yarn and she has been a knitting maniac ever since.

Aburrido

It is great to have so many knitting buddies. While not everyone shares our enthusiasm, we are having a blast picking out patterns, playing with wool, choosing yarn for the next project from my stash. Basically, it is fun to share such a meditative, zen pastime.

Merci Sara, Ghislaine et Suzanne. C'est le fun tricoter ensemble. EN plus, Gigi, j'aime ça tricoter au crochet avec toi ;-)

For the non-knitters out there, K1P1 refers to the basic ribbed pattern - knit 1, purl 1

  1. Love it! I can't knit a sticth, but I was a mean crocheter in my day. Did doilies and everything. Try to reign in the enthusiasm Barbeau!
